someone says something perfectly normal such as “cd case” and you hear “CDKs” (as in cyclin dependent kinase, which when cyclin is present and bound will activate to form a CDK/Cyclin complex which phosphorylates other signal factors and transcription factors needed to maintain the cell cycle).
